Try it in three steps
No FayzAmerica account required. Your AI plan must support custom MCP connections.
Open your AI’s connection settings
Add a custom MCP connection named FayzAmerica.
Paste this address
Choose Streamable HTTP and No authentication if asked. Enable the research tools.
Ask your first question
Use FayzAmerica to find up to three paving projects within 100 miles of Brea, California. Show the buyer, scope and next action date. Separate forecasts and unconfirmed locations.
Paste it into your connected AI chat. Change the trade and location to yours.
Frequently asked questions
What is FayzAmerica MCP?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It connects your AI assistant to FayzAmerica so you can search contract records and ask follow-up questions in your chat.
What can I search?
Selected California opportunities, FY2027–FY2030 construction plans, federal awards, award recipients and published buyer contacts. Each response explains its coverage.
Can I research past winners?
Yes. Search awards by service or buyer, then look up other awards linked to the winning company. A past winner is not automatically the current incumbent.
Which AI tools can I use?
Custom connections have been tested in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini CLI. Copilot testing is pending. Gemini’s web and phone apps have not been tested. Availability depends on your AI plan and organization settings.
Is the data current?
Your assistant queries FayzAmerica when you ask. Collections update on different schedules; check the dates returned with each result.
Can I try it for free?
FayzAmerica currently requires no account, API key or payment for this research connection. Usage limits apply. Your AI provider’s charges and connection requirements are separate.
Can FayzAmerica see my conversations?
FayzAmerica receives the details your assistant sends in each tool request. It does not receive the rest of your conversation unless your assistant includes it in that request.
How is this different from using the website?
On the website, you use the search and map. With MCP, you ask questions and review FayzAmerica records inside your AI assistant.
Does it monitor jobs or submit bids?
No. It researches when you ask. You can check changes in tracked records, but it does not send alerts, contact buyers or submit bids.
Research coverage and limits
Current California federal notices, selected California state notices and selected Los Angeles district construction plans for FY2027–FY2030. Award research covers selected federal award examples with transactions in the past five years. Vendor research starts from an award and matches the recipient’s unique identifier.
Matches use notice titles and exact NAICS codes, not every attachment. Distances are estimates and may use representative locations. Records without usable locations are separate from nearby results. Forecast windows are not bid deadlines; award amounts are obligations, not an agency’s annual budget.
Published buying-office contacts appear when available. Company contact details and external document links are not supplied. A past award or contract end date does not establish a current incumbent or future competition.
Change tracking began September 6, 2026. It reports changes observed in selected records, with coverage gaps disclosed; it is not a complete amendment history. This connection does not send alerts, submit bids, contact buyers or save a company profile. Location searches use an external geocoding service; use a city or public business address.
Connection compatibility
Validated with the official TypeScript MCP SDK 1.30.0. All four tools were tested successfully in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini CLI on September 6, 2026. The Gemini test used CLI version 0.58.0 with Gemini API authentication. A client must support this server's protocol and remote transport.
Transport: stateless Streamable HTTP, JSON responses. Protocol versions: 2025-11-25 and 2025-06-18. No authentication or persistent sessions. The server does not offer SSE streaming. Clients must send the negotiated MCP-Protocol-Version header after initialization.
Protocol validation: 53 of 53 checks pass on the application directly; 50 of 53 pass through the public host. Three truncated-JSON tests currently receive HTTP 500 before reaching the application. This hosting issue is under investigation; full protocol conformance is not yet claimed.
In ChatGPT: enable Developer mode in Settings → Security and login, then open Plugins → Create app. Enter the server address and choose No Auth. Connect FayzAmerica and select it in a chat. This is a custom developer connection, not a public directory listing.
In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector. Enter FayzAmerica and the server address, use the detected no-authentication setting, then connect. If a tool is reported as not loaded, ask Claude to discover the FayzAmerica tools and retry.
For Gemini CLI, add the server under mcpServers using httpUrl, with headers: {"MCP-Protocol-Version": "2025-06-18"}. If you use a tool allowlist, include all four FayzAmerica tools. Authenticate Gemini separately; never put your Gemini API key in the FayzAmerica server address.
Tools: find_work, get_project, research_awards, research_company. Responses are limited to ten records per request. Public requests are rate limited.
